Good Books Young Troublemakers (middle grade)
We’re excited to announce that we’re starting a middle grade book club! This will be a chapter of Good Books Young Troublemakers where kids read books that foster empathy and learn to speak up against injustices. 
I learned about GBYT at a children’s book conference from its founder, Tanvi Ragoti, who explained the book club’s focus on helping kids stand up for others and get in “good trouble.” 
We will use GBYT’s carefully curated book list. Our March book will be Hummingbird, by Natalie Lloyd.
Our first meeting will be 12:00 Sat., April 12 at Athens-Limestone Public Library.
The GBYT book club is best for ages 10-13. The first 10 registrants will receive their copy of Hummingbird free!
